Our products are made for style and quality. Each design is carefully crafted for use and longevity. We strive to create timeless designs that can be enjoyed from nursery to toddlerhood and beyond. Many of our products are made from sustainably sourced paper, making them easily recyclable.
Art Prints
We're all about reducing our impact on the Earth! That's why we print on demand and partner with local printers. This means your product is only shipped once (directly to you), instead of going on a world tour from printer to warehouse to you! Our printing partners have a number of sites in the UK meaning that your order will be dispatched from a printer as close to you as possible.
By printing to order, it allows us to only print what’s needed and reduces wastage. It also allows us to trial lots of different designs and colour ways, with zero risk of wastage giving you much more choice.
Our art prints are made from paper and wood sourced from sustainably managed forests and are printed on museum quality paper to ensure your prints can be enjoyed for years to come.
Our Wallpaper
We chose our wallpaper printer because they’re a world-leader in quality wallpaper production but also due to their intention to be the most ecologically friendly wallpaper printer in the industry. They’re aiming to run the factory entirely on green energy and become carbon neutral by 2025.
As with our art prints, our wallpaper is printed to order, enabling us to give you many options, and to change our offering if you don’t love that lime green wallpaper as much as we do!
The Printing Process
Our wallpaper is printed in the UK on a non-woven, sustainably sourced paper and we only use HP Latex inks which are water based and environmentally friendly.
These inks are certified to meet some of the world's most rigorous standards for low chemical emissions into the air. They also meet stringent health and environmental criteria and are UL ECOLOGO® certified5, conform to ZDHC Manufacturing Restricted Substances List6, and comply with toy safety requirements. They’re also free from Cadmium, Chromium, Mercury, Lead (tested to >0.2ppm) or Formaldehyde - so you can rest assured your family aren’t breathing in any nasties.
To make sure your wallpaper stands the test of time, the inks we use are also incredibly lightfast (meaning they won’t fade) and contain an anti-scratch agent which provides a high level of scratch resistance.
Paper Waste
We recycle wallpaper offcuts and waste, though a process that has reduced landfill by 98% and follows UK & EU legislation. Plus, when you get your order, you'll notice it's packed with paper offcuts from the factory instead of buying packing materials! These can be recycled with your normal recyclable waste.
But why is my wallpaper wrapped in plastic? Unfortunately, paper products are vulnerable to damp. We want to move away from plastic wrap but haven’t yet found a suitable alternative that will protect your items in transit. We’re actively seeking alternatives to adopt as soon as one becomes available.
But why does my wallpaper come wrapped in plastic? Unfortunately, paper products can get a little soggy in transit. We're on the hunt for a better way to protect them that doesn't involve plastic wrap. Stay tuned!
In the meantime, the plastic wrapping can be recycled by taking it to a recycling centre or plastic film collection point. If you’re in the UK, visit www.recyclenow.com to find your nearest recycling point or check you local council website to see if it can be recycled with your household recycling.
A Tree Planted with every order
For every order you place, we’ll plant a tree! It’s now common knowledge that one of the best tools to tackle the climate crisis and keep our temperatures from rising above 1.5C is to plant trees. They’re also crucial in preventing ecological collapse. We’ve partnered with Ecologi so that for every order placed, they’ll plant a tree on your behalf. Ecologi support a wide range of carbon avoidance projects that are certified Gold Standard or the Verified Carbon Standard.
